Planning Your Perfect Day

After signing our simple Agreement, we provide you with a questionnaire that will help you decide on the details for your event and provide important information for us.

About 60 days from your event we will ask you to review song lists to help you start thinking about the song choices for the special activities at your reception and the general playlist.

30 days prior to the reception we will have a face-to-face or tele-conference meeting to discuss the questionnaire, review pronunciation of names and other important information.

2 weeks prior to the event we will provide you with a detailed reception plan defining every activity that will take place and the timing. You just sit back and enjoy!

We thoroughly enjoy helping you plan your big day. 

You may want your reception to follow this plan:

  • Cocktail Hour – What’s your style? Jazz, Dean Martin, Love Songs? We’ll put together a perfect blend of music to suit your personal style.
     
  • Bridal Party Introductions – To kickoff your Perfect evening, we’ll formally introduce you and your bridal party. The Perfect Song, the Perfect Introduction, the beginning of a Perfect evening.
     
  • First Dance – Time to share your first dance as husband and wife. A song and dance you will cherish forever.
     
  • Dinner Hour – We’ll put together another soothing mix of songs that meets your personal preferences. 
     
  • Cake Cutting – We’ll get everyone organized for the traditional cake cutting. We’ll help you pick the perfect song to “feed” each other cake. Messy or neat, your call! 
     
  • Parent Dances – Time for the Father-Daughter Dance, and Mother-Son Dance. A chance to share the spotlight with those who “loved you first”.
     
  • Open Dancing – Time to crank up the volume, turn down the house lights and set the hall a blazing.  We’ll play the perfect mix of music based on your preferences, guest requests and long established reception favorites!
     
  • Bouquet Toss, Garter Toss – Give your guests a break from dancing and share in these traditional wedding reception activities.
     
  • Special Dances, Dedications and Activities- At your reception planning meeting, we’ll discuss lots of fun dances and activities to keep you and your guests on the edge of their seats, or special tributes to family and friends.

This is just a suggested outline of one possible reception scenario, we will customize the entire night to be a unique reflection of you.
